De eerste zou een rit voor sprinters kunnen zijn als ze het lastige slot overleven. Rit 2 van Demre naar Antalya zal de schifting maken. Hij gaat over 141 km met 2 steile klimmen waarin het 80 km vooral bergop gaat tot 1293 meter hoogte. Ook rit 3 van Kemer naar Tahtali is niet van de poes: 13 km met 4 zware beklimmingen en aankomst bergop. De slotrit in Antalya is evenmin een makkie met een stevige kuitenbijter (tot 999m) met daarna 45 km bergaf. Sportdirecteur Peter neemt 7 renners mee naar Antalya: <strong>Robbe Claeys, Thomas Joseph, Torsten Demeyere, Peder Dahl Strand, Mauro Verwilt, Timothy Dupont<\/strong> en <strong>Gianni Marchand<\/strong>, een team dat gaat voor ritwinst.  Met Alpecin-Deceuninck en Bahrain Victorious staan 2 World Tour teams aan de start, net als 9 ProTour ploegen.
